You can enter any 5 digit PIN for filing the 2021 tax return. However, you Must enter the 2020 AGI from the 2020 tax return you filed last year to e-file the 2021 tax return.

We have no idea what type of PIN you are referring to; there are more than one kind of PIN. e.g., if you are a victim of ID theft and the IRS assigned you a 6-digit IP PIN (or you opted in to that program), or are you referring to the 5-digit PIN used to verify an efiled return?
If you are talking about 6-digit IP PINs (Identity Protection PIN), see this IRS website:
https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
If you are asking about your 5-digit Self-Select PINs from last year, you're not required to use your 5-digit Self-Select PIN from last year. See the following explanation:
When efiling, there are a couple of places where TurboTax might ask you about a 5-digit PIN. In the section where you verify your efiling, TurboTax may ask you to provide either the 2020 AGI or your prior-year Self-Select PIN. Many, if not most, people use the 2020 AGI instead; i.e., you can choose the AGI field and enter the 2020 AGI and leave the PIN field blank.
However, if you're asking about a later screen (may be titled "Signature ID") that asks you for a 5-digit PIN and also has your birth date and today's date, that screen says to use "any 5 digits of your choosing." In that field you can either use the same 5-digit PIN as last year (for those who still have it), or you can make a new one. Whatever you enter there can be used again next year.
That being said, if you DO want to try to find your 5-digit Self-Select PINs from last year, you may be able to retrieve it if you have a full PDF of your 2020 return that includes the worksheets, or can download one from your Online TurboTax account if you used the Online version last year. Look for a worksheet called "Federal Information Worksheet", and the PIN should be near the bottom of Page 4 of that worksheet.

We don't know anything about your issue, what you are doing, or even which type of PIN you refer to. See if my answer at this link is helpful to you.
I forgot my PIN number to E-File and my computer automatically has a number in it how do I change and update it?
For the purpose of signing your electronic return, you can reuse your Self-Select PIN from last year or create a new one to use. It doesn’t matter which option you choose.
The Self-Select PIN is a random five-digit number that you enter as your electronic signature when e-filing your return.
