You still will not be able to e-file this year, even if she amended her return to correct her mistake. The IRS does not update the system soon enough. You have no choice this time--you have to print sign and mail your 2018 return.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
(If it is any comfort, teenagers and students with first jobs do this a LOT, and mess up their parents' ability to e-file. You are not alone.)

She has to amend her return. By the way, there is no 1040EZ for 2018. Everyone uses a new 1040. The forms are all different.

Just FYI but...
There is no 1040EZ for the 2018 tax year. There's only IRS Form 1040 for personal taxes, and that's it. The 1040-EZ and 1040-A were discontinued starting with the 2018 tax year.
