I'm a freelancer with an LLC. I need to file a 1099-NEC with the IRS that I gave to a contractor. Can I do this through turbotax?

I have already provided a 1099 to a contractor for work done in 2022. The deadline is approaching (Jan 31) for me to file this same form with the IRS. I'm outside the window to apply for "FIRE"  to submit this to the IRS online, and I'm nervous the requested paper forms haven't been delivered to me yet.  Does any turbotax product allow me to do this filing through TT, before Jan 31 and separate from my own tax filing? If so, hoping it doesn't cost an arm and a leg over the turbotax self-employed product I usually use.
To be extra clear, I don't need help reporting my 1099 income. Just submitting a 1099 *I* provided to a contractor to the IRS.
THANKS!

If you ordered the RED forms from the IRS just hang in there ... they are arriving in the mail now and you have until 1/31 to get them mailed in so don't panic.

But if you don't get them for free from the IRS you can get them from the store like Office Depot for a fee.

Or you can use the Quick Employer's Forms tool in the TT program ... if you use the Self Employed online program you have access to that tool now.  If you use the Downloaded version you must upgrade to the Home & Business version to access that QEF tool.

If you are a sole proprietor (self-employed), you can use TurboTax Self-Employed Online or TurboTax Home & Business CD/Download.

If you need to file a corporate or partnership return as part of your business, buy TurboTax Business.

TurboTax Quick Employer Forms for 1099-NEC

TurboTax Self-Employed, TurboTax Home & Business and TurboTax Business will link to TurboTax Quick Employer Forms. You can use QEP to prepare and e-file W-2s and 1099s.

Ok, I'm using the Self Employed online program and cannot seem to get to the forms I need. I have tried through the links you provided above, but those take me back to logging in and once I'm in, I can't find that tool. I've looked in "Tax Tools" in the side bar and searched for QEF, 1099, and employer without success. Can you help me navigate to where I need to be to do this filing? I'd love to do it online rather than through the mail w/ paper, etc. Thanks again!

And...one more question...I THINK that filing automatically took care of State too--is that correct?

No, the 1099-NEC you filed is a federal form, so nothing was sent to state. You probably don't have to file a state version of this form, but it does depend on the state.

Just to clarify, what state do you operate in, and was there any state tax withheld?

California.

No federal or state tax was withheld.

I thought I saw online info that the 1099-NEC did need to go to CA too, but it wasn't at all clear if the IRS would do that for me...

If no California state tax was withheld, you likely are not required to file the 1099-NEC with California.

This California Franchise Tax Board website states:

In general, if you are located in California and filing Form 1098, 1099, 5498, and W-2G paper information returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), you do not need to send a paper copy to the state. However, if you have an exception that requires you to report something differently for federal and state purposes, such as a different dollar amount, file separately with the IRS and the Franchise Tax Board (FTB).

Scroll down to 1099-NEC and the income filing requirement is the same as Federal.

What's confusing, though, is does this apply to the contractor who received the 1099-NEC, or the business that issued it? But I can probably at least defend the position you suggest...thanks!
