We have two Fidelity accounts... one for me and one for my wife. I have imported my info, but when I attempt to import my wife's, turbotax is automatically logging in to my account and re-pulling that info. How can I get turbotax to pull my wife's info? One comment I read kind of implied that the data from only one account could be pulled???
In order to pull in the second account, it is best to clear your cache and delete the cookies after you import the first one. Then you should be able to import the second account.
Please let us know if we can assist you further. @hilliard-larry
Ray, if you and your wife have different logins to Fidelity, then I think your situation is different from the Merle-78 (OP) situation.
@Ray PIngle , https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/multiple-fidelity-accounts-can-t-download-second-... may address your situation.
I have multiple accounts that share on login. Not only has TurboTax changed to allow only one account download, it chooses which account to download. Inability to download multiple accounts (which has been available in previous years) makes TurboTax untenable for me. Anyone found a workaround?
Had same problem... posted basically the same question last year and got this response...
"In order to pull in the second account, it is best to clear your cache and delete the cookies after you import the first one. Then you should be able to import the second account."
I got out of the turbotax app and shut down my lap top. After restarting it and going back in the app, I was able to pull the second account.
Same issue here. I am sure I did this last year. Now it wipes out the previous one. For the last year, you can even name each account differently like Fidelity-1234 and fidelity-3456. Called turbotax and was told the bug existed all the time. Obviously this is a new bug in TurboTax as the all the forms are fetched at Turbotax and it let you pick the ones you would like to take. It is a shame that turbotax is not willing to repro at their side and fix it.
