There may be an issue with some of the Brokerage import process to TurboTax. However, you will be able to enter the Brokerage information manually in TurboTax. Here are the steps you can follow to enter the information.

For at least 3 years the one brokerage account that fails to dowload 1099s is Morgan Stanley Stockplan, which tells me my name and/or password failed. But they are correct, and I changed passwords and it didn't help. It is shocking that this happens year after year. Why does Turbotax list MSS if it never works?
I had the same issue last year and experiencing the same issue again with Morgan Stanley. This seems to happen every year. I was able to successfully import from Ameritrade and other Institutions.
I cannot import from my stockplanconnect account, and I have verified my username/pwd.
1) Is there a ticket opened for this issue? Any ETA to get this resolved?
2) Please open another ticket to improve your log/error messages. Currently turbotax's error message implies there is problem with my username/pwd which is not the case. Your API's should be able to discern if you were able to login or not. The reason this is useful is that I've seen posts of people wasting their time trying to get this fix when the issue is not even on their end.
You may need to check your brokerage to see if they are allowing third-party access. Although the following Help Article is for Schwab, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent, and you might need to do something similar to what is described here How can I fix my 1099 import issue?
Carissa, yours may be bad information. Like many people over the years, I have had no problem with Schwab or others, it is a special problem with Morgan Stanley StockPlan Connect. I wish I'd taken better notes when we figured it out last year, but it had something to do with the fact that access to the information was dependent on both Morgan Stanley and the company whose stock plan is involved. They handcrafted a solution that worked and I suppose it will happen again this year. It is sad that this has been a community topic for years now and nothing has been done to resolve it or warn customers about it. Usually Turbotax is great at improving performance each year,
Jonathan
Try selecting "J.P. Morgan Funds" It worked for me.
Selected "JP Morgan Funds", the result is "The user ID entered does not exist..."
Still happening years later... Intuit support is useless and so is Morgan Stanley Stockplan Connect.

Good luck with this. A few years ago I found someone at MS who explained it and manually did something that enabled me to upload the statement to Turbotax automatically. I've never spent the time to find someone, when it doesn't work I enter it manually. It is amazing that Morgan Stanley hasn't developed a workaround all these years. Their rep calls me up occasionally asking if I'm interested in doing more with them. Of course not.
What a Rip off.
can’t load brokerage acct info from Morgan Stanley. It’s the only reason I buy turbo tax.
I want a refund!
