i can not efile because of form 8582

yes, i e-filed 1040 last week and e-filed Maryland today.

This "form 8582 Passive Activity Loss Limitations" is a pain, has my returns on hold for over a week now. This form is available already, see this link https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_fed_online_individual.html not sure where everyone is saying the form is not avail for MD til Feb 10. Can someone send a reference where it lists feb 10? 

In my case, once you have paid for turbo tax filing, you do not have the option to delete the MD state return for the online version. Neither do you have the option to file for the federal only and return later to file state. You have to either fix the error and file them both. Also on the fix the error screen, can't delete the "0" on line 9 "Enter the smaller of line 4 or line 8" under Part II "Special Allowance for Rental Real Estate Activities With Active Participation." Was on the phone with Turbo Tax Rep and they can't figure out why this form is generating although I don't have rental real estate activities to report. She will ask her colleagues and try to call me back. We were on the phone for over 20 mins looking for a resolution.

The form is blank with exception of the "0" on line 9.  Tried going under Tax Tools to del the form, but I don't even see it listed. Anyone knows where you can access the form for the online version or find a resolution for the online version. Since those using a desktop version seem to have found a solution via @LadyGourmet @1947Baltimorecolts

@Lululemon  - you can delete the 0 by right clicking on the field, selecting OVERRIDE, and then selecting delete to get rid of the 0.  I've done two sets of taxes at this point and it worked both times.

last week I e-filed the Fed tax after deleting the e-file check mark for Maryland. Later e-file Maryland, hit the 8582 roadblock, look for any '0.' on form, right click on item, choose over ride and delete the number. as many times as needed. try to e-file then. another member came up with this. I got my form in today.

It doesn't work if u haven't filed federal already it definitely didn't work for me so I'm waiting to see how long it'll take, my federal got accepted earlier

@LadyGourmet Are you using an online version to do these overrides or a desktop version? Also are you using a Mac or a PC? Im using an online Turbo Tax version and I am also using Mac, I don't see the override option when  right click on the zero. I have uploaded screenshots.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form"

@DoninGA I tried this and don't even see the form 8582 listed under tax tools, Delete a form, I see all forms listed with the exception the 8582. Even the TT rep tried to find the form with not luck.

Am I on the right screen in my above comment? Because what she said would be there isn't there and my federal has already been accepted
