I get an almost identical message.

It happens at the start of the program.
Behind the error message box is the "Keep up to date..." screen

How about an ACTUAL answer here rather than send me to phone support, where I am on hold for 30 minutes only to be told they cannot help me?
Phone support actually worked for me. We did the following 2 things. I would try them in reverse order.
1. Uninstall / re-install
2. Keep disk in drive at all times.
Never took the CD out, so I tried uninstall/reinstall and that worked for me.
There is no point to keep the disc in the drive after installation it cannot help anything - the disc is not accessed at all during running of the program. It is only an installation disc and there are no files that can help the program run located on the disc.
