The pay with credit card for payment of federal taxes owed should be one of the options in Step 2 of the File section when you have taxes owed.

That was not an option when I got to File section. Only debit card, cash or payment plan.

To pay by credit card you can go to the IRS website to pay federal taxes by credit card - https://www.irs.gov/payments/pay-your-taxes-by-debit-or-credit-card
I am e-filing and want to pay my federal tax due by credit card. I am not being given that option. How do I pay by credit card through e-filing? The options I get are direct debit from checking account, check by mail, or installment plan. Thanks.
