For the past 2 or 3 years, Turbox would always ask me to enter cost basis for e-Trade transaction. Is it a well-known issue that we all experience? Is Turbox going to correct this?
Why has to be different browsers. It has directly from Turbo Tax software app. When you click 1099 they have option with stock and click that one and you will see so many brand and pictures logo of investment. If you don’t see many logo of investment then something wrong with your Turbo Tax.
After you see many logo’s of stock of investments then choose Etrade Securities. It’s simple and too easy. Even 5th grade elementary school can do it.
With the latest update for TurboTax'22 on Mac, I cannot even attempt to connect to E*Trade as the "Continue" button on import page is greyed out. Anyone else has seen this behavior? Intuit testing folks??

I had a very long E*Trade password that did not work. I shortened it to 8 characters and it went through. Went back and changed it back after the inport.
I have been using turbo tax for several years. This year I can not import my year end sales info from my brokerage account generating the required schedule D and form 8949. I can get a summary from Schwab but it's not in 8949 format, just a summary. How do I import from Schwab to get form 8949?
I guess I'll be using another tax prep software next year.
