On the entry screen of form 1099-DIV in TurboTax, click on the box My form has info in other boxes (this is uncommon). Other boxes will appear and you can enter your information in boxes 5 and 7.
I am trying to make a correction to a previously entered. Turbo is not allowing me to re-enter and make an entry to an individual line item. TY
It depends.
Have you already submitted your returns for filing? If so, you cannot make any changes now. You would need to file an amended return to make the corrections once your return is accepted.
If you have not submitted your return yet, you can make the changes by going back into the federal interview section of the program.
I have not submitted my return for filing. When I go to edit 1099 Div , you show the list of my previous entries, but you do not allow me to access these figures to make any changes . I cannot click on an amount to change it. T Y
The next suggestion would be to re-enter the entire 1099-Div in a new input screen. Then go back and delete the original one.
