Maybe ... if the seller was actually amazon and not a third party reseller ... amazon cannot vet everyone selling on their site.

How do I get to the new turbox tax i purchased from amazon.

Go to amazon.com/gsl.  I was wondering the same thing, and someone on Amazon said to go to that link.  It worked for me!  That's where all of the downloadable products you've purchased are located on Amazon, apparently.  Just click "Download" on the right.  Your license number is listed on that page as well (on the left).
