Did you e-file? If you e-filed already you cannot cancel it. If you did not e-file or pay you can just clear it out.

As xmasbaby0 mentioned, if you have already e-filed your return, there is no way to cancel it. Otherwise, to cancel the return you are working on, you can use the Clear and Start Over feature.
