Hi, I have paid turbo tax 2019 but failed to finish it. I need resume it but I can not find my file for 2019 and am asked to purchase 2019 again. Please help.

You'll first need to locate the return that you started for 2019.  Do you possibly have more than one TurboTax account?  In order to locate that file, you'll need to use the same account (EXACT same username and password) that you used when working on 2019.  See the info below to find out what TurboTax accounts you may have.

 

How many TurboTax accounts do I have? 

 

Once you've located your file, you'll need to contact TurboTax Customer Support to let them know that you've already made payment for your 2019 program.  A Support rep will verify your payment, then put a free download into your TurboTax account.  That way, you won't need to purchase the software again.  Use the info below to contact Support during business hours.

 

What is the TurboTax phone number? 

 

Finally, see the instructions I'm linking below to help you finish up your 2019 return.  You'll need to mail it; prior-year returns cannot be e-filed.  

 

How do I finish a prior-year return that I started in TurboTax Online?
