No. Wages that you received from a Federal Work Study program as a student do not count as a scholarship or grant. Wages are payments that you earned and are taxable. Scholarships and grants are free money given to students to help pay their tuition.

Using federal subsidized loans and a partial amount of fed unsubsidized loans for school tuition, materials, etc. I also made payments out of pocket. How do I report it?
