Hello,
I've filled out all the portions of my tax return via TurboTax online, but it's not allowing me to submit them, because two forms of my Maryland state taxes are "not ready to be filed due to a change in the federal form."
Of the two, when I searched the form availability table, it told me that form 8582 is available, but it's still preventing me from submitting. Additionally, I can't even find the second form in the table, because it's only labeled as an "activity worksheet," with no accompanying number.
Is there anything I can do to get these unstuck, or is my only solution just to wait until the forms become available? And if the latter, is there anyway for me to receive notifications as to when that will be?

Turbo tax is updating it's software as quickly as it can to keep up with the changing forms. Also the states need time to keep up with certain forms. Sounds like there is a problem with Maryland forms. Have you tried just filing the federal return without Maryland? You should be able to e-file the 1040 separately. Then wait for Maryland to update.
Thanks for your response. I guess you're right, and my only option is to wait.
There are some forms showing as available in the Maryland Forms Availability table, but many are not. Please see the below link to check for a specific form.
Maryland Individual State Forms Availability
Thanks Michelle,
The Activity Worksheet still is showing as unavailable when I try to file, and isn't even in the list you linked me to. Do you have any idea when that might change?
Form 8582 is used to figure the amount of any passive activity loss, where you are not actively engaged in a business or investment, such as losses from rentals.
If this is in your Maryland tax return, our team is still working to resolve an error message in some Maryland state returns that give an error message about Form 8582 and the Activity Sheet needing an update, even if there are no passive losses to report.
If the federal forms are all finalized and the federal is ready to e-file, you can choose to file just the federal return at this time, then come back when your state forms are ready and e-file that return. The filing date for tax year 2021 Maryland state returns was extended to July 15th, 2022.
Note, if you don't e-file them together, you do have to wait until the federal is accepted before you can e-file the state. Sometimes this takes a day or even two.
Here is a TurboTax Help article with directions for when you return to file your state return.
File State after the Federal is Filed
If this is not a Maryland state return error message, just to clarify, please let us know if it is in the federal return or a different state. This will help us investigate the message. If you do not have any passive activity, we would like to take a deeper look at this. It would help to have a diagnostic file, which is a sanitized copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed but has all of the forms and numbers entered. You can send one to us by following the directions below and posting the token number here so we can access the sanitized return.

I have the same exact problem as described above...8582, Maryland, same message. Waiting for resolution to this before filing.
