Turbotax states that form 4562 Depreciation and Amortization are available according to the website, but in the desktop app it still say's not available. When will it be available?

No, there is no definite date for the release of the depreciation updates. Even though Form 4562 has been coded and released to the software, the calculations have not been finalized.
We recommend that you move to another section of your return and/or wait a few days before checking to see if the update is final. Note that most updates are scheduled to be released after midnight, usually on Thursday or Friday, but can be done at any time.
Can someone contact your deployment Team regarding 4562? I’ve been with turbo 10+ years and there’s just a lack of visibility.
Although the forms availability table indicates that Form 4562 is ready to e-file, the final update for depreciation calculations has not been released.

Do you have an ETA on when it will be available. Just updated my application today and it still says "Depreciation and Amortization will be available by February, but likely sooner" and February is only 2 days away.

IRS published updated 4562 form January 26,2026. When can I expect the software update?
As stated previously, we don't know the exact date when the depreciation calculations will be updated in the software. We recommend that you wait a few days before checking on that section of your return. Be sure to accept updates when you open TurboTax Desktop. TurboTax Online is updated when you open your return.

I agree, I really do like TurboTax but someone has to know a date for deployment... Just want some transparency as this is affecting a lot of us.
As someone else asked, can you check with your deployment team and confirm a launch date? There seems to be a lack of internal communication. Informing customers that they need to keep checking isn't the best customer service.
