Review the noticed you received of the accepted payment plan. There should be information on how to cancel the plan if needed. The account being paid in full will automatically cancel the payment however it is possible that a payment could be taken before the balance on the account is posted. So contact them as directed on the notice.
yeah, on hold for 90 minutes so far with IRS section that handles that. I'm supposed to be able to cancel the installment plan as long as I get through to them more than 15 days prior to the impound date.
The IRS line closes at 7 pm, so I may get disconnected without ever talking to anyone. There's always Monday!
