Has anyone been able to import their forms from Fidelity? It has worked for the past couple of years but it's not working this year. Tried it all weekend....  I tested my username and password in Fidelity multiple times and it works there, but TurboTax fails to log into Fidelity. keep giving me this:

"That still didn’t work, so try one of these. (103)"....

-Follow the link to check your sign-in info, then return and try again.Go to site

-Is that the right bank or URL? Some look alike and have other subdivisions.

Also, clicking on "Go to site" goes to a blank page. Is this a bug?

Can you explain in a little more detail what you mean by "Won't provide login information for my Fidelity acc?"

Cannot download 1099 retirement from Fidelity Investments. Error 580. Turbotax contacted by Facebook says its my computer problem, delete all history, cookies, etc. Don't believe it.

Also cannot download 1099 INT from two banks because not listed.

Defective product and worse support.

Worked in previous years.

Ridiculous. Any suggestions besides doing everything manually.

I usually have no problem importing from Fidelity . They send me a National Financial 1099b which i link to which always worked. This year so far in turbotax I get the message data unavailable. Fidelity tells me it's a turbotax issue. I also don't wan't to enter the info manually. I will have  to contact turbotax but not sure how to do that . Everything seems to be community forums.

I too had problems importing my Fidelity  statement. It took 6 or more attempts before it showed as received. Even then when I saw it received and tried to open it the program locked up. On the seventh attempt it showed received and I immediately SAVED the document...that seemed to work. However my small savings account at another bank did not show up as importable, nor did my account at the Pentagon Federal Credit Union. Two surprised for me and the financial institutions.

Here is some good news I would like to share here.

I saw a posting today by GLUA in https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/investments-and-rental-properties/discussion/re-fidelity-investment-import-not-working/01/2940724/highlight/false#M99619

He/she was able to import from Fidelity using the Turbotax online product and then download that tax return to the desktop and then continue with TurboTax desktop version.

I did the same thing. I started a new return online, I imported my 2021 tax return that I have on Mac. Then imported from Fidelity, E*Trade, etc. All of them seem to have imported successfully. I see the 1099-B data there. I am assuming there are no errors. Then downloaded that tax return to my Mac. I am able to continue on the Mac now.

What this tells us is that the import failure on the desktop version of TurboTax is 100% a bug on the part of this software. If it is a bug/problem with Fidelity, then TurboTax online should have failed.

Hope this information helps others who are stuck with a buggy software. Shame on Intuit to hoist this ugly bug on us.

@5226001

I copied what you did with the online version and it downloaded my forms on the first try. Thanks for the tip.
