Please log completely out of TurboTax, then try clearing out your browser's cache stored on your computer. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. Trying to e-file MN state (was able to send federal separately from state-per a previous thread) and still getting Failed Validation error. I have updated the program to the current version, installed a patch, cleared my cache/cookies, uninstalled and reinstalled. What are my next steps? I have already paid for the state returns. I have been using TurboTax for years and this is the first time I have run into an issue. I have read many other threads and not finding a solution. Need to file soon.
I had the same issue with a GA return on a Windows desktop (downloaded version). First, I tried the various solutions in the Community including the mondo patch and redownloading the product.
Then two different tech calls. First sent me a new state program to download. And the second walked through numerous steps including changing default browsers.
No luck and the conclusion was to paper file as it was not fixable.
