Employer name containing & is being corrupted when W-2 info is entered manually

& (ampersand) in the employer name is rendered as &&&&& in both View Modes (Step by Step and Forms) when I enter W-2 information manually. I am using Turbotax Home and Business for Windows 2021. I

Saw that one a few days ago....they need to fix it.   But meantime....just use the word "and" instead of the ampersand symbol and it should work out okay for you.  The IRS --nor the software-- cares whether you use the symbol or the word.

Thanks. Using "and" instead of & will eliminate the rendering issue. However the employer name in the tax return won't match W-2 then...

The IRS only looks at the EIN ... what you enter for the employer's name is immaterial.

I hope the same applies to state returns - NY State tax return includes form IT-2 Summary of W-2  statements.
