Electronic filing was a complete fail through TurboTax this year. The IRS kept asking for my AGI from 2020 in order to verify my identity, and kept rejecting the figure I gave them directly from my 2020 TurboTax-prepared return. I also jumped through several hoops to access the information on the IRS site, and when I viewed the transcript, there was NO entry posted for AGI. In frustration, I gave up and just sent in a paper return.

Use your Driver's License or State PIN to file rather than last year's AGI.
I had to give that to them too, but it didn't make a difference. It appears if you are electronic filing for the first time, the IRS won't have the prior year's AGI electronically to check against. It's a dumb system.
Apparently there is a problem with Turbo Tax and AGI filings. I submitted also my 2021 ereturns and rejected by IRS. I pulled all my records from IRS and found that there records agreed with the AGI. I have heard this is a on going problem with Turbo tax without any corrections or exception of responsibility. So I paid them to do taxes and filed by I don't see a refund from turbo tax. I mailed my returns 2/3/22 and to date nothing has been noted by IRS. I believe Turbo tax is at fault, so now I assume I wait for IRS a year from now to get my refund.
The IRS has had a huge backlog of mailed in returns since 2020. Hopefully someone is actually working on it by now. Did you mail certified mail where they had to sign for it?
TurboTax doesn’t provide a refund, they provide the software to file a return. The IRS handles refunds. TurboTax gets no information about your return after filing.
