I have finished my tax return, but I did not see any section to enter the economic impact payment. I did receive them, and I have been researching and everything points me to the let's review your federal return section, but I do not see anything.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Yes it is up to date. My son did his taxes and he did get the question.
The recovery rebate credit is in the Federal Review section. If no questions about the credit are appearing for you then you have either said that you can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return, or your income is too high and you are not eligible to get the credit.

If your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income is over the maximum for receiving the Recovery Rebate Credit, the stimulus question will not presented.
• Single or married filing separately—$80,000
• Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
• Head of household—$120,000
This makes sens, but what prompted me to check this is because a coworker said she had to answer the question, and her income would also be higher than the limit. Seems weird.
question about economic recovery payment not showing up in turbotax premier version.
where did you get the $160,000 limit for married status? I googled it and found the limit is $150,000.
@ramosavjr There is a phaseout between $150,000 and $160,000 Between those amounts people may get a smaller EIP payment. Beyond $160,000 they get zero
I found out a way how turbotax will trigger the question regarding the economic recovery payment question. why some users are getting the question and some are not. What I did I copied my current turbotax file and name it differently from my official turbotax file. I opened this new file called "sample" and updated my income value so it would change the amount of the AGI. Turbotax will trigger the question if the AGI is below $159,943.00 (turbotax support people should know this). Try this yourself and see if it will do the same thing. Thanks by the way to champ about the stimulus limit information.
check my post yesterday.
