My disabled adult son has counted as my dependent, since I am his sole source of income and care. This year, TurboTax is telling me do no longer qualifies as a dependent, despite his information being the same as previous years. I would like to know why?

You might have answered a question in MY INFO incorrectly. Click his name in MY INFO. Go back through all of the interview questions slowly and carefully. Read every screen top to bottom.
Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment.
There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2024 tax return as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
