what bank do you use? I need to sign up there cause mine doesnt tell me anything
I'm a member of Elga Credit Union.
Uses TPG for funds transfer. You can check status at https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com once refund is approved
I have a credit union account too but I was too dumb to use it lol 😂 I copied what we used last year and they can’t tell you til it’s in your account thank you so much!
Accepted 1/27 got path msg 1/31 moving a little faster than last year but I still don’t expect my refund until late February
My return got accepted. What happens next?
Congratulations! Accepted means your e-file has passed inspection (such as Social Security numbers are correct and dependents haven't already been claimed) and the government has your tax return. Consider acceptance as your official government packing slip.
After acceptance, the next step is for the government to review your refund.
During the review process, they look for math errors on your return (extremely rare in TurboTax) and check if you owe back taxes, unpaid child support, or other debts.
If they need to make any corrections, they may offset (reduce) your refund. In some cases, the correction might even increase your refund.
Once that part's done, the government approves your refund, which means it's ready to be deposited or sent.
It can take up to 21 calendar days after acceptance for the IRS to issue your refund, although most refunds go more quickly than that, while a small handful may take a bit longer.
Start tracking your federal refund at the IRS Where's My Refund site.
For state refunds, go to your state government's refund lookup service.
Any update for you?
Did you get your refund?
I have PATH message currently. hoping for the 15th or 17th
Directly from the IRS :
I claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) on my tax return. When can I expect my refund?
According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue EITC and ACTC refunds before mid-February. The IRS expects most EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Check Where’s My Refund for your personalized refund date.
Where’s My Refund? on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go mobile app remains the best way to check the status of a refund. WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22.
So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
@mugambikk @They only have your file if you have money coming out from turbo tax right because I file through turbo tax but Sbbt doesn’t have my file because I used the free edition I assuming that is why they don’t show that they have my file
I can order my transcripts as of this morning, however I am still on the first bar.
From the IRS:
Will Where’s My Refund? show me when I’ll receive my refund? Where’s My Refund? will give you a personalized date after we process your return and approve your refund.
Will ordering a transcript help me find out when I’ll get my refund?
A tax transcript will not help you find out when you’ll get your refund. The information transcripts have about your account does not necessarily reflect the amount or timing of your refund. They are best used to validate past income and tax filing status for mortgage, student and small business loan applications, and to help with tax preparation.
What about if I got accepted in 1-21-2020 and both credits that fall under the path act
