Which version of TurboTax are you using?

If you are using TurboTax Online to complete and file your tax return and you do not see your tax return data in your account, it might be in a different TurboTax account. it's very easy to create a duplicate account. You can check to see if you may have multiple Intuit accounts by following the steps in the below help article.

How many Intuit accounts do I have with TurboTax?

If you are using TurboTax CD/Download software to complete your return, then you will file your return within the software.  TurboTax Online would not have a copy of your tax file as it would be stored locally on your computer or storage device when using TurboTax CD/Download software.
