I have a son who is a college student. I still consider him as my dependent because he doesn’t work. How can I file him on my taxes along with him using the form the school gives about expenses?

If your son is a full-time college student under the age of 24 then he is still your qualifying child dependent so you claim him, and you are the one who can get the education credits on your tax return.
WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2022 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
