  • I recently moved to Canada in December and need to file my taxes for last year. I do have an account with you that I used before to file my taxes when I was in Canada for a working holiday year. I now have a new social insurance number and don't know how to change that with you. I need 5o file my taxes for last year according to cra to be able to create an account with cra which I need.

 That's not clear, but could you perhaps be in the wrong forum??   Are you wanting to ask something in regard to USA TurboTax or Canada TurboTax?   You're posting in the USA TurboTax community forum.     You mentioned "need to file my taxes for last year."   Need to file them where--US tax return or Canadian tax return?

Irs says tax return was sent on April 8,2026. Still not seeing it. Where is my refund. Turbo tax isn’t showing any updates

@Denneyr1437 Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

 

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.


For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/
