When I click Transmit Returns now button on Windows desktop version of software to transmit my state and federal returns, I receive error message stating that I need to complete a software update of my tax software. I have checked for updates, received confirmation message that my software is up to date, restarted TurboTax, restarted my computer, and I am still receiving this message over 24hrs later. Thank you.

This was not helpful but thank you. I easily meet system requirements. The turbotax software itself is the source of the error message telling me I need to update the tax software specifically, which I have done and it has not resolved the issue. I have completed my taxes and simply need to transmit returns. Updating the turbotax software has indicated it is up to date despite the error message telling me it needs to be updated.

I am getting the same issue, been on hold for hours the last 2 days, updated manually multiple times...this is the biggest waist of my time and $160
