I couldn’t efile with this form for 2023 tax year. Which completely negated the benefit of using Turbotax.
will I be able to efile this year?

Many federal and state forms are not yet available. Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.
I have the same question about Form 7206. I've seen the schedule saying its ready for e-File, but I'd really like to hear from someone at Intuit that I will definitely be able to e-file my Federal Tax Return with a Form 7206 this year. I'm holding off on buying TurboTax 2024 until I know I won't have a problem e-filing with Form 7206 this year.
I show the form is available. Are you having problems?
I don’t know if there’s a problem, that’s why I’m asking. Last year, I didn’t know there was a problem until I after I e-filed, at which point I received notification that the IRS and State of Michigan had rejected my filings and that I would have to file paper returns for both federal and state taxes because the IRS wasn’t accepting the electronic version of TurboTax’s Form 7206. I’m holding off on buying TurboTax 2024 until I receive assurances that I won’t have the same problem again this year. Do you know whether TurboTax has resolved the problem with its form 7206?
Yes, Form 7206 is available for tax year 2024. If you need to check any other forms to see if they are available, you can visit the following link:
I think you are misunderstanding my question. I know the form is available (it was also available last year); but what I’m really asking is whether the problem with the form (where the IRS would not accept TurboTax’s electronic form) has been fixed?
I filed electronically a few days ago for 2024 and it was accepted by the Fed.
@NFKugs @dennisnancy217 Is this issue fixed? Can we e-file in the desktop version of TurboTax with Form 7206 for 2024 taxes?
Also not only is there the question about e-filing, but TurboTax is not filling out Form 7206 correctly and just putting a note at the bottom about marketplace premiums. If you were able to e-file, did you e-file despite the form not being filled out correctly? Or did you possibly go into Forms mode and correct it manually before e-filing?
This is assuming you're using desktop software. TurboTax still lists Form 7206 as unsupported for e-filing on the Windows and Mac versions. But it seems like some people have posted that they were able to file with it anyway.
Edit: I was able to e-file with Form 7206 on TurboTax Home & Business 2024 and federal return was accepted.
Form 7206 can now be electronically filed per the TurboTax form availability page.
