I copy and paste all the time here.  Are you on Windows?  Do

Ctrl+Insert to copy

Ctrl+V to paste.

I also copy on my iPad.  Try again.

The best thing to do is have your employer explain. Since he generated the email, he understands what he is trying to communicate. If there is a specific tax term that you do not understand, and you can't paste it, you can simply retype the information here.
