Can log into Wells Fargo Advisors via web browser.
Password has no special characters.
But cannot log into Wells Fargo Advisors using turbotax for data import.

There was an update last night that MAY have solved your issue. Make sure you have the most updated software and try again.
No Change - Data import still does not work for Wells Fargo.
Downloaded fresh copy of TurboTax 2024.app at 7pm EDT 3/21/25.
This new copy has the same problem as the first copy I downloaded on 3/18/25.
Trying to import investment income from Wells Fargo or Wells Fargo Advisors.
Import from Bank Of America worked fine, so I know how to do this.
When trying to import from Wells Fargo Advisor, TurboTax fails to open a browser form.
When truing to import from Wells Fargo the browser form does open, but
I put in UN & PW for Wells Fargo, click Continue and soon get the error message:
Something unexpected happened and we can’t connect to Wells Fargo.
Try again in a few hours. (590)
But this error message is wrong. There must have been a log in to Wells Fargo.
I check that by separately logging in to the Wells Fargo web page using a browser and then looking at what their "manage connected apps" says. It shows the accounts I requested in the TurboTax form, information that could not be inside the Wells Fargo page if there had been no log in. And I can loop this as: Erase what is in the WF Connected Apps Manager; run TT again, and then relook at what is in the WF Connected Apps Manager. TT has again changed what is inside the WF web page.
Other things I tried:
delete cache in browser, change default browser, change to a third browser, turn off firewall,
reboot computer, use different computer, reboot modem, use on-line TurboTax
Don't want to manually input the income data. There is a lot of it.
Computer and Software:
M1 MacBook Air running OS 15.3.2
I paid for and click to download Premier, but the app name is TurboTax 2024.app
When I check "info" for this app it shows Kind: Application (Intel)
Looks to me as though this app shouldn't run at all on my Mac, but it does.

Can you clarify if you did a force download for your mac? If that doesn't work, you can force a download of the most recent update.
Mac is supposed to do updates automatically but occasionally gets stuck in a loop of stating it is updated but it's not pulling the most recent version. The steps above should force the most recent update with the import fix. If you did the forced download please respond back and we will continue to try to help.
