Can my dad and I file separately using the same turbo tax code from Costco?

Do you and your dad live in the same household? If one of you has the desktop download software, that software can be used for five e-filed federal returns and the associated state returns---just by clicking New Return on your computer. You do not enter a code every time you use desktop because the software is on your own hard drive.

Was it the code for the Desktop installed program or for the Online version? The Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 federal for free. You can install it on 5 computers you own. To do another return go up to File - New tax return.
