I worked for two employers this year. The sum of two W2s' CASDI will be more than CASDI max wages.
I found Turbo Tax Q&A that overpaid social security tax is automatically taken care for multiple-employer situation. Just want to check if overpaid CASDI will be taken care by TurboTax software or Turbotax will print further instructions. Do I need to report my current employer the CASDI I already paid?

Are you asking about doing your 2019 return or for this year 2020 that we filed next year? You just enter the W2s exactly as shown. Turbo Tax will calculate the excess CASDI and give you credit for it. One thing.....if the employer enters it in W2 box 19 then move it to box 14.
For 2019,
The SDI Withholding Rate for 2019 is 1 percent. The SDI taxable wage limit is $118,371 per employee for calendar year 2019. The maximum to withhold for each employee is $1,183.71. Excess CA SDI will be on CA 540 line 74. See 540 Instructions Page 13 line 74
I looked up 2020.
For 2020 the maximum tax is $1,229.09 per employee, per year ($122,909 x .010).

Thank you so much for the detailed and fast response!
My situation is for 2020 and I found a form in CA EDD.
https://www.edd.ca.gov/pdf_pub_ctr/de1964.pdf
Looks the situation will be taken care by turbotax since it's part of CA 540.
I can just ignore the extra form in the link.
