No, they can not correct your income. They may be able to assist you in correcting an error with your income. What are you wanting to correct?

Apparently I am needing to correct the amount on my 1040 verses my W-2 that my tax lady filed for me.

If you paid someone to assist you in filing your 2019 tax return, then they should be able to assist with amending your tax return at no charge.
