Bug Report: Form 5695 QMID validation error for Weil-McLain

I just wanted to update, I'm using the online version.  I tried again yesterday and still had the error. Today I logged in from my work computer and tried and it never gave me the error and I was able to file. Not sure if it was fixed or if something on my personal laptop was causing the error.

Deleted Form 5695 and reentered information. No QMID validation error message.

Another update, my return was rejected cause of form 5695, gave me the below fix.  I have to wait until February 13, 2026 and hope it's fixed.

What needs to be done:

This return cannot be filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 13, 2026. On or after this date please log back into the product and get the latest updates (TurboTax Online does this automatically). Then revisit the Federal return, run through review and re-transmit the return. If the reject continues, you may want to file this return via U.S. Mail: print and mail it to the appropriate taxing authority.

I e-filed today with the I7Q6 code. My federal and state got rejected. I received the exact same message, about waiting until February 13. Very frustrating. Seems like waiting and hoping for a fix come February 13 is the only option.

We did it right and it was rejected.  We dumped everything reloaded tried again...again rejected.  It says to check back February 13 or file by mail...seriously they are suggesting you to mail in your return...

It will be rejected by the IRS...we have tried three times now and it comes back rejected after we send it.

Did the IRS accept it though?  We filed and it said pending and 24 hours later we got notification it was rejected.  We dumped the cache and tried again...three hours later it was rejected after it said pending...

But when we filed with the IRS it said pending and it was later rejected by the IRS....we dumped the cache checked for updates...tried again...it submitted it looked like ok and then this time 3 hours later it was rejected again.  The problem is I7Q6...turbo tax had the audacity to suggest we mail in the return..

We got the same thing..so exactly why did we all pay for software if Turbo Tax is suggesting we mail our return in and the IRS specifically says do NOT mail your return.  It is not a secure way to send it.

Did that and also dumped the cache and it was sent to IRS said pending...a few hours later it was rejected due to the QMID code.  I have reverified the code and it is correct.  And it is only a few codes that will not work...many are working.  H & R block is not having this issue from what we researched.  We are going to buy H & R block and redo and send

Will you update us if H&R Block works. I hate to have to go somewhere else since I already paid, I'd rather not have to pay again.

I waited a bit before trying again , started from scratch and same problem. Will either try a new tax service or wait till the 14th and try again I guess
