SSI is never reported on a tax return.

 

If the SSDI payment is the only income he receives there is no need for him to file a tax return.  And you do Not report his SSDI on your tax return.  You can continue to claim him as your dependent as there are no new reporting requirement on your tax return.

Thank you for the quick reply, DoninGA!  I realized just after I posted the questions that I had asked the same question several months ago and got the same answer.  Getting old... 😂.
