Re: 529 reporting as unqualified

I have a child who is attending a school that does not support FAFSA, so my withdrawals from her 529 are unqualified to pay for her tuition. How do I report this in Turbo Tax? She is the beneficiary & I am the recipient, so I need to report it.

Enter the 1099-Q and indicate that it was not used for education expenses.

Find the entry under

Deductions & Credits

Education

ESA and 529 qualified tuition programs (Form 1099-Q) START or UPDATE

How do I enter a value in line 6 of form 5329? The earnings reported for my 529 withdrawal should not be penalized.
