Father passed away in Dec 2020, we set up Estate in 2021. Closed out all of his investments and placed into the estate in 2021. I'm getting error message when running error check "date sold is not a date in current tax year", for instance the date I entered was 07/03/2021.
Also, when print out all my forms, the page explaining payment, who make check out to and where to mail it, form says pay by "March 15, 2023". Why would my 2021 payments be due March of 2023???

Check your tax year.
I appears as if you may have selected a fiscal year that begins in 2021 and ends in 2022.
Note that if your fiscal year begins in 2020, you need to use the 2020 edition of TurboTax Business. Either that, or you have to do a lot of manual changes with the 2021 version.
But we didn't even set up the estate until 2021. Also, i never selected a fiscal year, never gave me that option.
On all my forms at the top it says 2021, turbo tax even estimated earnings for 2022 and gave me the estimated tax schedule for 2022 to mail in every quarter if I wish.
