Turbo Tax is telling me that my employer needs to create a W-2c to correct the amount of Railroad Tax. My W-2 does not show any Railroad Tax. The amount of Railroad Tax is equal to my Social Security withholdings. Turbo Tax downloaded my W-2 and I have verified the information 3 times. What can I do?

First, check to make sure that you have only one W-2 in TurboTax. Occasionally, with downloads, duplicate forms are created.
Second, if you have a printed or pictorial copy of your W-2, delete your W-2 in TurboTax, and then enter it by hand. The download process occasionally fails and creates spurious data. So delete what's in TurboTax and enter what you can see so that you know what's in TurboTax.
Thanks for the advice. I tried your suggestion of manually entering the info but that did not fix the problem. Also spoke to Turbo Tax support and they had no fix except to get a W-2c. My employer has told me there are no errors and the form agrees. Still hoping for a fix.
Did you try deleting the W2 and re enter it manually? Check W2 box 12. You may have entered Code A by mistake.
What do you have selected in Box 12 of your W2? you may have accidentally put the wrong letter code. If there is anything like RRTA, that may be where your issue is. I only know this because I've done it before. Are you/were you a railroad worker?
Not a railroad worker. No RRTA in my box 12 just 401K contributions.
