I started my taxes and for a variety of reasons never finish them and I need to complete them now for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018. What software, option or pay in order to have access to my data and complete them? Thank you in advance.

Returns for prior years that you started but did not finish have to be finished using desktop software which you download to a full PC or Mac. When ready to file, you need to print, sign and mail them--they cannot be e-filed.
Each year must be prepared using the software for the specific tax year, and each return needs to be mailed in its own separate envelope. Federal and state must be mailed to different addresses as well.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS and/or your state received the return.
