QBI Deduction + 199A REIT Incom

My S corp is eligible for QBI deduction as I am an active participant in the business.  I also own a REIT which has 199A income which is eligible for QBI.  TT is only listing the REIT 199A income in the QBI deduction which is small potatoes vs the massive S corp QBI deduction I've received using TT in 2019, 2020, 2021.  Why is TT not pulling the S Corp income into the QBI calculation?   I'm not self employed, rather own an S corp 100% and should have a huge QBI deduction which is not populating in TT.   Using the online addition with assistance - the assistance has NOT been of any help.  Perhaps TT just wants me to upgrade yet again to have them do all my taxes for me.  I'm not opposed but I've already done everything and the software isn't doing it's job.   Last several years it worked perfectly.

QBI for businesses can get phased out if your income is too high. not so for QBI on REIT dividends. also, if your S-Corp is an SSTB there can be further limitations. we can't see your return. review form 8995.  you may want to download the form from the iRS website and prepare it manually and then compare to the Turbotax form.  we then may be able to explain why the amounts on the lines differ.

almost forgot. after entering 17V which Turbotax only uses to ask further questions about QBI, did you get to those questions and input the amounts.

The issue was created and solved on the following data screen:   "We see you have Section 199A income"

I actually have 199A income from the K1 and also from a REIT I own.  How do I assure that my QBI calculation is incorporating both?   Or, perhaps I should ask...does my REIT income qualify for QBI?

How do I access the 8995 to make sure both are being included in the QBI calc?    If another work around to double check is available I'd like to review this before filing...time is of the essence.

depemding on what version you are using, you may have to pay the Turbotax fees before it allows you to review the tax forms.  there are no fees for desktop versions to preview your return and the 8995.
