Prior year data not fully importing into 2023 turbotax desktop (Mac)

When I have Turbotax import from the 2022 Turbotax file on my desktop to begin the 2023 return, it is not importing any of the actual return data (i.e. there is no comparative 2022 information/numbers) or underlying form data (eg. populating the prior year 1099-MISC forms for use in the current year). I've deleted the created file and tried to begin fresh, but the same result.
