I filed my return with Deluxe. I need to amend my return but I am stuck in "Premium" and I do not need to use it. I haven't done anything using Premium. I want to go back to Deluxe and I cannot "erase and start over" because my return is already filed.
Why is there not a way to change the product?

To amend an accepted return, either:
I am not having any problem with amending, I just do not want to pay for Premium. I "need" Premier to get deductions from capitol losses, but the money I save for the losses is less than the cost of Premier. Therefore I do not want to pay for Premier since it is cheaper to stay with Deluxe and pay more taxes than pay for the upgrade.
If the information you need to Amend in TurboTax requires more than what your current version of the software covers, you will be prompted to upgrade to the next level of TurboTax. TurboTax Customer Support would be able to confirm if that is your only option.
