Hi again - so this time I have a question about the "Here's a Picture of your 2021 Income" screen.
My husband has a combination of wages and retirement income. I have entered the wages from his W2 in the correct place, and on the "2021 Income Summary" page the correct amount shows. I also entered all of the retirement income info in the correct places.
However, after I finish the Personal Income info and go to the "Here's a Picture of your 2021 Income" screen, the W2 income does not show at all! Only the retirement income. LAST year's total income shows correctly (income from all sources).
Does this matter? Is this a bug? Thanks.

@squidlady I'm not sure why the W-2 income is not showing on your income summary. However, it won't be a problem as long as it is showing on line 1 of your form 1040.
You can view your form 1040 while working in the online version of TurboTax by following these steps:
While working on your return in the Federal section of TurboTax:
1. Choose the Tax Tools icon on your left menu bar
2. Tools
3. View Tax Summary
4. Choose the Preview my 1040 on your left menu bar
Nope! Wages/Salaries/Tips on the 1040, Line 1 - is blank!
PLEASE have this bug fixed, thank you!
Better delete that W2 and re enter it. Did you enter it in the right place? Is the Statutory Employee box checked on it? Nobody else has reported this problem.
As I said in the OP, I entered it in the correct place, and it does show in the 2021 Income Summary.
But I will delete and re-enter it and see if that fixes it.
Statutory Employee box is not checked.
Ok, I deleted it and put it all back in again - and this time it took it. Thanks for the tip!
Whew! Glad you fixed it.
My issue is that income summary for the previous year on the income summary screen is not correct for one of the line items. It shows an IRA Distribution-Taxable for 2020 that should be in the 2021 column.
I tried clearing and then re-importing the data from the IRA custodian, but it didn't correct.
Maybe the column headings are wrong? I think some places they are showing the wrong year. But anyway, If you are looking at a summary screen or review screen those show the full amount as income and lump a lot of stuff together. You need to check the actual 1040 and make sure it’s right. For 1099R check 1040 lines 4 and 5. If it was a rollover it should say ROLLOVER by it and 0 taxable.
Column headings are correct. Sure it's right other places but the point is if TT is going to show a summary, it should be correct. The incorrect figure in the 2020 matches exactly what it should be for 2021.
