Paying estimated income tax separately

Last year we filed separately. This year we are filing jointly.  We each made estimated income tax payments. The TurboTax form doesn't allow for separate entries. Do we simply add them together? How will the Fed/CT confirm payments?

Paying estimated income tax separately

Yes - Combine the amounts.

The IRS and CT will match the social security number listed on the payments made with the social security numbers on your joint return.
