Does the paycheck for a caretaker for an elderly person have to match the 1099 form?

All the earning forms, such as W-2, Form 1099-Misc, Form 1099-NEC, the recipient name should always match his/her Social Security Card. Therefore, the paycheck should match Form 1099 if the caretaker receives both.

If not, contact your employers for correction or call SSA at 800-772-1213, or go to www.ssa.gov.
