I had this problem. It was resolved by going to the "My Info" section. There it had a little icon beside an area that was incomplete regarding "dependents." Once I responded to that, all was well.
Well, it's been three years and I am currently having this problem, so that must not have gone well.
Hello. I am receiving this message and it continues to prevent me from e-filing. I deleted and then recreated my state return...but still got the message.
I went through the steps listed earlier in this thread and 'shared my file with an agent'. My token is 1297474.
If someone could help me resolve this, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
RPastir
Nevermind. I got this resolved by using a different browswer (Edge) to e-file.
I went through this for a week, the first agent was great and she tried everything. We used different browsers, incognito modes, restart TurboTax, etc. The second agent to one look at the direct deposit and knew exactly what was wrong. there are two direct deposit options, I selected the 5 days early...This was the problem. not everyone is eligible for the early deposit. I changed my option to the standard deposit and my return filed as it should. I hope this helps everyone who is having the problem, 5 days of frustration and all is not fixed. Thanks you Kerry
responses from support "It is possible all the forms needed to file your return aren't available yet. You can check this in the Review section."
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!
I tried every single thing in this thread:
I did fall into the category that my HSA account, or my W2 box 12 was higher than box 1. So I went down that rabbit hole of re-entering my W2's, redoing the HSA interview and forms, deleting the forms in the Tools Settings, deleting my state return and re-submitted probably 20 times only to still get the same error.
Only to have a feeling that me selecting the option to get paid out 5 days earlier which is new to me on TT, was the culprit. I did everything above first that I listed, to finally select regular payout of 21 days before restarting my taxes completely. It went through and filed!
