Nobody contacted you from this public user forum. We are just other users. But I can tell you the Online fees are to prepare the return whether you efile or print and mail. And just paying the fees does not efile the return. Did you continue on through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button? You can still efile. Or did your efile reject?
Does your account say Ready to Mail? You can try to switch to efile. Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
It is clear why the class action against intuit is proceeding, regardless of the few individuals that have slipped through the cracks. Turbo tax did not efile my tax they cannot keep my money.
Here is the License Agreement for Turbo Tax Online
https://turbotax.intuit.com/corp/license/online.jsp
See 15 GENERAL
1.2 After proper registration and payment is made, you may file such return(s) electronically or by printing and mailing them to the Internal Revenue Service
It says YOU MAY FILE (not TurboTax and not will be efiled)
And see section 2.2 Electronic Filing Services
Common sense would dictate me filing the tax return IF I purchased the turbo tax product, however since I paid for the filing service, whatever comments you make should keep that in mind.
