Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

On the filing page for state, the AGI box is not letting me type numbers in after the decimal point (which is the only thing I can see is making my return rejected)?

When I type in the full AGI amount (as is on my 2021 W2), the numbers typed after the decimal point appear and then disappear after I type them in. I tried submitting my return rounded up (rejected) and without the numbers after the decimal point (rejected). Is something wrong on the TurboTax end?

Your AGI is not on your W-2.

Where do I find my AGI?

Your 2021 tax return shows your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income  (AGI)  If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.

Form 1040        line 11

If you are using the same TT account that you used last year, you should also be able to find this number in your Tax Home for 2021

If entering the amount from your 2021tax return does not work, then try entering “0” instead.  If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.

You can get a free transcript of your past return from the IRS:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Note: If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2021 AGI may not be in the system.

Note:  If you mail your federal return, you will also need to mail your state return.  You will not be able to e-file your state return.

I also have same problem.  I know where my AGI is - however when entering AGI on page that you e-file

I cannot enter decimals.  Example if I enter AGI like 50000.00 - it only shows 50000. I just checked on my IRS transcripted ang my AGI is correct if I could include .00 on number.

What is up?

Please see this Turbo Tax help article for more information.
What if I entered the correct AGI and I'm still getting an e-file reject?
