Short answer:  Possibly neither.  The correct amount will be on your Form W-2.  You need to wait for it.

Neither. You need to wait on the W-2. If you file using your paystub, you are practically guaranteed to get things wrong and have to file an amended return later.

I'm definitely waiting for the w2. Im just attempting to estimate how much I will have to pay in :(

Then use the gross amount. If using the online version of the program, make "sure" you clear the entire return when done. Otherwise, when you start your "real" tax return, you can expect to have issues.
